Eurovision Song Contest: Oslo 2010

Following the convincing victory by Alexander Rybak with 'Fairytale' in Moscow, Norwegian host broadcaster NRK will host the 55th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo. The Eurovision Song Contest semi-final will take place on 25th & 27th May while the final is scheduled for 29th May 2010. The venue of next year's edition is Telenor Arena and NRK is set to spend 17 million euros.

So far more than twenty countries confirmed their participation in Oslo. Norway won the Eurovision Song Contest three times; in 1985 represented by Bobbysocks, in 1995 represented by Secret Garden and this year represented by the Belarusian origin singer Alexander Rybak.

Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza

Konkors Kanzuentta Indipendenza is a yearly festival held during the local Indipendence Day festivese. The festival started back in 1983 and throughout the years many established singers’ in Malta have won the festival composed of Maltese written songs. On Friday 19th September 2008 the 22nd edition will be held.
